new season for dad.....

We’re heading to East Tennessee this morning where we’ll attend a reception for Dad this afternoon. After 44 years in the same industry, Dad will be retiring at the end of this month.

It’s not unusual for me to run into something at work that I’m unsure of and pick up the phone to call him. From an industry standpoint, he’s been referred to as the state’s credit union historian. I’ll probably still call him for advice, it’ll just be on his cell phone while he’s on a golf course somewhere.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.” And I have no doubt that new activities are on the horizon for Dad…..
