I heard something interesting while at lunch today. In a recent survey, people were asked to give the best way to become wealthy. 20% of those surveyed said the best way to become wealthy was to win the lottery. That means if you see 5 people standing together, odds are that one of them thinks this way.
Whatever happened to working to obtain wealth? Another interesting fact is that of all the "wealthy" people in America, only 8% of them inherited their wealth. Now I didn't graduate from MIT, but if my simple math skills work here that means the other 92% DIDN'T inherit their money. Think they worked and worked hard for it?
The land of opportunity is becoming (or has already become) the land of gimme' what oughta' be mine.....
