I remember going to parent meetings when Meg was in kindergarten and being the youngest parents in the room. Now that the girls are 12 and almost 17, we’re usually among the older parents in those settings. That’s not necessarily a bad thing. We’ve been there, so we don’t have that deer-in-the-headlight look that some parents have who’ve yet to experience these things.
I guess summer officially starts today for the girls. Here's a warning to them - first daughter to say "I'm bored" gets kitchen duty for a month.....
